Today at 12noon (Rome time) the Holy See has announced the appointment of Fr Phoncie Cullinan as the new bishop of Waterford and Lismore.
Fr Phoncie who was up to today parish priest in Rathkeale, is a friend of the radio programme and has contributed on a number of occasions. SS102fm extends our heartiest congratulations to the bishop-elect on the news of his appointment and wish him every best wish and blessing in his new ministry.
