Catechesis: A Source of Energy for the Life of the Church

At a recent gathering of clergy in Limerick diocese, Bishop Brendan proposed that we dedicate one Sunday a month to a catechetical input on some aspect of our faith.

Last week priests received a two page resource to share as part of homily notes, a handout or other appropriate forms of Catechesis.

This short article is a way of introducing people to the Irish Catholic Adult Catechism for Adults. The theme is “how do we know God?” and corresponds approximately to pages 3-21 of the Catechism.
