On this weeks programme the Sacredspace102fm team are joined by Ann Fitzsimons from Askeaton to tell us about an up coming film festival. We have our regular reflection on the Sunday gospel as well as other liturgical odds and ends.

Askeaton Film Festival

 

Ann Fitzsimons joins us this week to tell us about the work of the Askeaton/Ballysteen PPC. Over the next few weeks the Askeaton/Ballysteen Parish Pastoral Council are hosting a film festival to run over 4 consecutive Wednesday nights. The festival will show films that will be both entertaining and challenging.

 

The films to be shown are:

The Way,

The Mission,

Amazing Grace and Philomena. 

Each night will comprise of a viewing of a film and then some time to chat about its impact. The discussion will be informal and relaxed, to be enjoyed over a cuppa.

 

Askeaton/Ballysteen Parish extend a warm welcome to all.

 

 

Come and join them in the Community Hall, Askeaton on Wednesday 30th Sept at 7.45pm for the first film of this festival of ‘movies that matter’.
