The Vatican creates an E-mail address so that the Pope can receive birthday greetings online
On the occasion of Pope Benedict XVI’s double anniversary - a part from his 85th birthday which he celebrates today, this coming Thursday the Vatican will also be celebrating the seventh anniversary of his pontificate – the Holy See’s website has created a specific E-mail address which faithful can use to send their wishes to the Pope: auguri.benedettoxvi@vatican.va.
The Vatican Press Office explained that the idea came from the requests of faithful themselves.
